Out of the fire, and into the fire again, you make me want to forget and start all over...
Oh, sorry! Still jamming out after the concert last night, can you say Best Of Both Worlds?! I had to turn the music off so I wouldn't be tempted to continue singing... It was around this time when I got into Baltimore yesterday, heading to the MileyWorld pre-party, which, unless you're 5, the only thing interesting to do is take pictures with the bus and the stand-up Miley. Which is what I did before heading off to get the World's Best Crab Cake, as my mom called it. Only the way there, some girl yelled in my face... man, am I glad I don't live there! Turns out that the place that makes & sells the crab cakes was closed for the season! My mom proceeded to pout all the way to McDonald's.
I was so excited, I could barely eat my Happy Meal. I didn't even order a Happy Meal... but anyways. We then followed the sound of girls screaming and singing "We Got The Party" all the way back to the pre-party. We listened to the raffle, but sadly, I did not win a chance to meet Miley or get 5th row seats so that the Jonas' would sweat on me... those were the pre-party's announcer's words, not mine.
Then my mom and I headed on inside, waiting and waiting and waiting... and waiting to buy a tshirt. Two really big ladies who most definitely WEREN'T my mom squished me the whole time... like the lady next to me was going to place her order before me. My killer elbows scored me a spot at the counter within 20 minutes. After getting my Miley tshirt (the white one, with Miley in the yellow & black top w/ black skirt, by the way), we had to wait and wait and wait... and wait to get to our seats. My mom patiently waiting (somewhat) for the bathroom, I went inside to find my seats. Funny story; as I was asking the lady where my seats were, three groups of people started screaming "Miley!" at me, before noticing that I was most definitely not the pop star they thought I was! So, I went up to our seats and sat down. The girl behind me was talking on the phone with her friend, apparently, and was screaming over Nick Jonas. I probably would've been doing the same thing, had I not noticed how annoying she sounded while she did it. We were several hundred feet from the stage and she tells her friend, "OHMYGOSH, I am, like, FEET away from NICK JONAS!" *insert high-pitched screams here*. That is almost as funny as the girl next to me waiting in line for the Jonas concert in August who literally thought she was going to marry Nick Jonas. Wow, Nick is one worshipped boy, eh?
Back to the concert. Jonas ROCKED, as always, and I was getting pretty impatient for Hannah to come out. And once she did, it totally overwhelmed me. Mainly because my idol was in the same room as I was. I recorded parts of songs that I could on my camera, and I'm pretty sure you can hear me singing at the top of my lungs in the background, so I probably won't upload them, sorry!
Once Miley came out, I flipped. I almost started crying as I watched her singing and dancing onstage, mainly because I would do anything to be doing the same thing. I would love to have her job! But, I'm still majorly supportive, and I hope to meet her someday.
My favorite song would have to be See You Again, which is my favorite anyway. Haha, I was jamming all the way home, too! I ended up losing my voice on the ride home as I sang her songs on the way. I didn't end up getting to sleep until midnight, which brings me to where I am now.
I've been home from school for an hour and a half now, and I'm extremely pooped. I'm going to take a nap, then upload the pictures and stuff from yesterday. I'll put them up ASAP. :)
xoxo,
Infamous Rachel
